Once the Christmas and New Year celebrations are behind us, enthusiasts all over the UK will be looking forward to the start of the 2008 Hot Air Ballooning year. All over the country balloon festivals will be, or already have been planned and at Adventure Balloons we will be taking part in some of these.
Lots of Balloon Festivals take place in and around London and the Home Counties and these are wonderful spectator events, which can be fun for all the family irrespective of ages. These events feature a wide variety of Hot Air Balloons, some are small events, and others cater for up to and over 100 balloons. Often the balloon festival takes place in co-operation with another event making it an entertaining day, featuring mass ascents and sometimes a nightglow spectacular.
